Week 11

Yeah for week 11! I am feeling so much better. Very little nausea and more energy. I am happy about this. My stomach has grown, my pants are much tighter around the waist. Especially at night and after I eat too much. I can't wait until it actually looks like a baby bump rather than just me looking chubby. Next week is another doctors appt. and I am really exited.

The day I found out I was pregnant!

I accidentally erased the post on the day I found out I was pregnant. So I am going to rewrite what I remember on that day....

Tuesday morning on July 5, I woke up and decided to take a pregnancy test. I was a week late on my period. Which was completely normal for me, I rarely had periods but I had been on some drugs to help it start. I was 90% sure I was pregnant although I did say that about every month. I took the pregnancy test right when I got up and then went to eat some breakfast. I wandered back into the bathroom just to peak at the test, expecting to see a negative because that is what I had been seeing for the past year. But to my surprise there was two lines this time. I had to take a triple look just to make sure I was seeing correctly, check the box to make sure to lines was pregnant. I was ecstatic!! I never have felt so happy.

I called Cody and asked him to come home asap, I had something I had to tell him. He could tell I was super exited about what needed to be said. But he couldn't leave work and wouldn't get home tell late. I said this cant wait I'm to exited about this. He let me know he was pretty positive he new what I needed to tell him, So I just blurted it out over the phone. I'M PREGNANT:) He couldn't believe it:) I started crying from being so happy. He brought flowers and a card when he came home and we shared feelings of excitement and happiness.

That was a wonderful day, I feel like it was a miracle. We had started trying in Sept of 09 and I had about 3 period from then through May. We decided it was probably time to go and get some help. My doctor is great. He first got my periods going again and started me on a drug that increases progesterone. Once I had ovulated they did some blood work and found out my progesterone was still very very low. I was at a 3 when you should be around a 15 to be able to get pregnant. When I heard that news I was pretty sad thinking maybe its not the right time. Well a week later I found out I was pregnant:) That was a huge awaking to me, realizing that God knows when the right time is and that I just need to keep my faith and he will bless me.

Week7,8,9,10

This post is going to be for weeks 7,8,9,10 because I felt the same throughout all of those weeks. TIRED AND NAUSEOUS! I cant say it has been awesome but its been good. We had our first doc. apt on week 10 which turned out to be week nine. We were able to see the little babies heart beat and see his little body wiggling around. The 1st ultra sound was very hard to see anything, the doctor said I have a flips uterus. So I was lucky enough to have to do another kind of ultrasound that is much more invasive. I think it might have scared Cody more than me:) Everything was great though, nice strong heart beat and the due date is now March 16th.

For symptoms they included extremely fatigued, nausea throughout the day, and I really have to make myself eat. Food is not my friend right now. Other than that I am great:) I havent gain weight quite yet but thats normal for the first trimester.

Week 6

We told are family this week! We were going to wait for a while to make sure everything went well because thats what all the books tell you to do. But we decided we didn't like keeping it a secret. And it was my dads and Mindis birthday and that would be a great birthday present.

I called my dad to tell him and we were just talking for a while and I told him I have another birthday present I wanted to tell him about but I want mom to hear to. So he put it on speaker phone and I told him he was going to be a grandpa again:) I didn't even hear what he had to say:) My mom was screaming, she must have grabbed the phone, she said OH my goodness my baby is going to have a baby. They were very happy and exited for us.

Now for telling Cody's parents. I wish I would have recorded this. We told Mindi and Ed that they should stop by because we had a present for Mindi. We gave her first present and just as they were thinking of leaving Cody said. Oh wait I have one more present for you. He graded a card that said "HOW OLD DOES GRANDMA NEED TO BE?" She opened it and it said 52:) she started to cry and said your PREGNANT? This is the best birthday present! This is even better than all the cars Ed has bought me:) They are thrilled and very exited to be grandparents.

Now for the symptoms I am getting super tired and a lot more nausea. I have lost 4 pounds because of nothing sounding good. And I have started to have the weirdest dreams. You probably cant tell but my belly is a little bit bigger, Cody says Im crazy and I look exactly the same.
